Have you ever wanted to learn a new language? What’s the best way to go about it? We discuss what we think is the most effective way to start learning a new language from scratch and gain deep-rooted value from the process.
Languages tend to have the reputation of being notoriously difficult to learn and achieve fluency. Many even say that you can’t learn a language effectively if you’re older. But learning a language is all about the process. Achieving true fluency is incredibly difficult, however learning to communicate effectively within the language isn’t as bad as it seems. Nonetheless, it’s a lot of work, but incredibly rewarding if you set your intentions and goals from the beginning
Key points discussed in this episode:
- Which language should you choose to learn?
- Setting goals throughout the process
- History and culture behind the language
- Methods of learning
- What words, verbs and phrases to prioritise
- How much time should I dedicate to learning a language?
